Premium Quality Mini-Ramps
Smaller versions of half-pipes known as mini-ramps became increasingly popular in the late 1980s. Historically, they became widely sought after because they fit easily into smaller locations, could be constructed faster, and at a lower cost than a full-sized vert ramp or bowl. The minimal height of these smaller skateboard ramps also makes it easier for beginner riders to learn and progress.
Mini-ramps have proven to be helpful both with skaters seeking to learn and perfect more technical lip tricks and with parents who want to provide friends and family with a small skateable space in the privacy of their backyard.
In layman’s terms, a mini ramp consists of two quarter pipes facing each other with a flat surface in between.
The advantage of the mini ramp is that you can do alternating tricks on both sides without pushing between each trick.
